I've found my wedding song. I may not even get married but if I do one day, this is the song we'll do our first dance to. It's SO BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT. The groom doesn't get a say, this is it.

So I watched the first episode of this new TV show called Arrow tonight. A friend recommended it to me so I thought I'd finally check it out. Wow. So intense. Here is the blurb:

"The series follows billionaire playboy Oliver Queen, portrayed by Stephen Amell, who, after five years of being stranded on an uncharted island, returns home to fight crime and corruption as a secret vigilante whose weapon of choice is a bow and arrows"

This all sounded interesting enough. But then I watched the episode and saw the main character...

Talk about babe alert. I'm hooked. Unfortunately there are only ten episodes at this stage so it won't take me long to watch the entire series. I encourage you to watch it too and enjoy Stephen Amell's aesthetics.

A salute to the suit

I don't think there is any outfit that looks better on a guy than a suit. They just look so crisp and clean and sexy when they're worn well. And it's such a rare occasion these days to see a guy (especially in NZ) in a suit. My dream is to one day go to some super swanky event in a beautiful designer dress with a man in a suit on my arm....the kind of event that has live music, champagne, delicate little nibbles and all that jazz.
Bahaha...a girl can dream, right?

Currently in Dale's world...

Firstly, apologies for the depressing post prior to this one. I had a short while of feeling sad re le garcon over the weekend. However that didn't last long and I am back to my happy self again :) Actually, life is pretty sweet atm!! Hitting the gym lots, not having to study (and hence being able to troll the net, watch tv shows and movies and read etc etc), getting lots of hours at work, hanging with friends...it's great!!

I got a new smartphone today (no not an iphone unfortunately...) and have spent a great deal of today figuring it out, getting apps and all that jazz. It's pretty awesome I must say.

1) I've seen the movie Ted twice.
2) I went ice skating last night with my flatmate. He almost fell multiple times. I didn't. yuss.

5) I'm currently crushing on Tom Hardy. He has copious amounts of swagg.

7) My flatmate let me create his character on Skyrim last night. I made her real dirty with lots of war paint. fun.
8) I watched Life is Beautiful recently. It was beautiful.
9) On Tuesday night I was told something by someone which made me feel good.
10) I bought some new heels recently. Because they are 6-inch, when I wear them I will be 6 foot tall. oosh.

Louis Tomlinson

I admit it. I like One Direction.
They have the most catchy songs and are the cutest group of boys out.
After a bit of 'research' on the band, I've come to the conclusion that Louis Tomlinson is my fave. He's 20 (the oldest in the band) and a total babe. Not only that, but he has a b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l voice and mean fashion sense.

Vintage Celeb #1

Do you remember Jonathan Taylor Thomas? Played the middle son Randy in Home Improvement, pretty much my favourite show back in the day, and the first TV crush I can remember having. He was such a promising star too, especially as he voiced the young Simba in The Lion King, one of the greatest movies of all time. So what happened?
Since then, he's appeared in Smallville, Veronica Mars and 8 Simple Rules but hasn't done any acting since 2006.
I hope you are alg JTT, and we wouldn't mind if you showed your face again :)

What are you doing new years eve?

So this was totally not what I was going to post next but I saw it and loved it (..to the days..) and just had to post it. One of my all time favourite movies is 500 days of Summer which starts Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt so this had instant appeal for me. I already thought Joseph was brilliant, but this just adds another dimension to his brilliance - the man has such a beautiful voice!

These two are just so lovely.

Dear future boyfriend

Hello.
So you don't know me yet, but I've been waiting for you for a loooong time, and I can't wait to meet you! I think about you a lot, and all the fun times we will have together. I know your plane crashed in Africa (but you were completely fine of course) and you're walking home which is why you've taken so long to get to me, but could you please hurry up? I want to skip the waiting and get to the fun, lovely part. When you play your guitar and sing to me. When we have kitchen adventures together, cooking up all sorts of wonderful things and laughing non-stop while we're at it. When we have movie and chocolate nights, curled up all snug by the fire. And we'll toast marshmallows. We'll watch the rugby together and do the haka and dissolve into fits of laughter. We'll always be smiling. You'll always make me smile.

Girl crush

Herro. Uni was pretty cool today, as it was short and relatively painfree. I'm healing up which is a relief and Ooooooooooh ooooh the flatties, some classmates and I are heading to Harry Potter 7.2 tonight! Uber excited! For one of my friends who is coming with us, it'll be her 3rd time seeing it. Yep, she's a HP nut.

But anyways....Zooey Deschanel is my girl crush. She is beautiful, talented and stylish. I love her effortless vintage syle and ever-present cuteness. Oh, and she's in a band too! How cool. I also love how she stays out of the limelight and how I've never heard any gossip about her.

It's funny life ae

Since last blog post: coffee dates, work, friends (tv series as well as seeing friends), dinner dates, homemade mcflurries, reading, eating far too much, ipod, washing, first legal roadie!!, minimal facebook, phonecalls, amazing showers, grandparents, amazing sleep-ins...!!
It has been bliss :)
And whoa! This is my 41st post! Sheesh, they build up fast!
May not be blogging much over the next week as my bestie and I are taking a roadie up to Hamilton tomorrow. Super excited. I'm going to try and document the week in photos so hopefully I will have pics to share.
Another catchup over kumara chips and a horror movie planned tonight...can't wait!
This post's title is something I said once and has since become something said rather often amongst my friends ;)

Hi again. Just finished up studying for the night and wanted to get a post in before I catch some zzzzzzzz's. Last couple of days have been filled with study for tomorrow's exam which I cannot wait to finish at approx 5:15pm tomorrow! This weekend shall indeed be fabulous. No uni work hanging over my head and moving in to a beautiful new house. It's ultra exciting!!
One must always allow oneself to have some eye-candy every so often, which is the motivation behind tonight's post. Two actors I adore (other than my forever favourite Johnny Depp of course).

Numero Uno:

  

Joseph Gordon-Levitt. So cute. So indie. Love him in 500 days of Summer with Zooey Deschanel. He's super stylish and his character is quirky and interesting. Not your typical masculine hero, but his quirkiness and that 'something different' he has make him a favourite of mine.

Numero Dos:

Complete opposite end of the spectrum, Josh Duhamel. Always knew he was a pretty face, but after watching Life as we know it, now have a renewed appreciation for him because he can actually act! Really funny in that movie. Recommend it if you haven't seen it.
Hottest man alive? Hmmm hard to decide between him and Cristiano Ronaldo. But this guy seems to be all class.

My, how time flies

Thursday already!! EEK! Got 2 assignments due tomorrow and a 30% test. fml. So the blog is taking a back seat (..so I can be ur backseat driver..). Found some beautiful pics of my forever favourite actor Johnny Depp the other day so they are today's post. He is such a talented actor, I can't wait to see the newest POTC. Even though I know it won't be a great movie, I can be sure that he will be amazing nonetheless. And he's pretty spunky too :)
